Male Breast Reduction also known as Gynecomastia is the development of excessive breast tissue, the cause of this is unknown but it may grow bigger and get worse from the usage of any drugs (i.e. alcohol, marijuana, cocaine).

What are the risks involved in Male Breast Reduction? |

All procedures have risks involved. In this procedure you are risking bleeding, infections and the reaction to the anesthetics.

Where can this procedure be done? |

This procedure can be done in the hospital as an outpatient procedure or in the Doctorís office as an outpatient procedure. Many of the breast surgeries are performed under local anesthesia or general anesthesia.

How much time will it take to recover from the Male Breast Reduction procedure? |
|
You can return to your normal activities a few days after surgery. Although your chest will still be sore from the surgery, you must take all activities very lightly and cautiously. Most people are able to resume their normal schedule within four to eight days.
